Protein skimmer

SAQUA protein skimmers remove dissolved organic compounds, proteins, fine particles and other contaminants from aquaculture water. They are designed and manufactured by SAQUA to remove waste particles of 60 microns and smaller. These are the fine solids and dissolved organics that mechanical filters cannot capture.

The skimmers are built from polypropylene (PP) and are available with or without an integrated ozone generator. Capacity is customizable from 10 to 300 m³/h, so each unit can be matched to the system it serves.
