Degasser
The SAQUA tank-type degasser removes excess carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen (N₂) and other dissolved gases from recirculating aquaculture water by gas stripping. In intensive RAS, fish respiration and biofiltration continuously build up CO₂. Left uncontrolled, it lowers pH, reduces the fish's ability to take up oxygen, and limits growth.
Water flows down over 2.6 m³ of Bio-Block media while an inline duct fan drives fresh air through the column. This transfers the dissolved gases out of the water and vents them from the system.
Key features:
- Efficient gas removal
- Inline duct fan for forced ventilation
- Robust PP construction
- Easy backwash, low maintenance
- Compact, modular tank design
